Madrid Marks Art and Community After World Art Day

Shortly after UNESCO’s World Art Day on April 15, Madrid will continue that celebration with a Day for Art gathering scheduled for April 19, 2026. Organized by the Church of Scientology of Spain and the Fundación para la Mejora de la Vida, la Cultura y la Sociedad, the event brings together art, community and reflection in a local setting that aims to highlight the social value of artistic expression.

The Madrid event, now in its third annual edition, is expected to welcome creators from multiple disciplines, including painting, writing, music, dance and design. The gathering is not centered on competition or a formal showcase, but on conversation, participation and possible collaboration. By also featuring a special art-themed edition of The Way to Happiness, the event links creativity with values that support better coexistence, making it both a cultural and community-oriented occasion.
